Alta Vista Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Juan Coronado led the charge by scoring 15 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Molina, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
James Madison Preparatory School's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Alta Vista Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
