 Meanwhile,  West Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a  blow against Mayer Lutheran, falling  88-38. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings  (they are ranked 161st, while the Crusaders are ranked 34th).
 United Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for West Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
