The Penn-Trafford Warriors''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against Franklin Regional by a score of 27-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Penn-Trafford also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Penn-Trafford can attribute much of their success to Tasso Whipple, who rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
Although Franklin Regional took the loss, they still got scores from Jack Silvis and Jude Gentile.
Penn-Trafford's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points per game. As for Franklin Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Penn-Trafford will take on Penn Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin Regional, they will head out on the road to face off against Peters Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peters Township will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
