Millard hasn't had much luck against Beaver recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Millard got the win against Milford by a conclusive 17-6.

Macie Wade made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Savannah Turner was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Emily Stephenson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Millard lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beaver). They blew past Millard 21-11 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.
The team relied heavily on Danzee Bradshaw, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Tylee Marshall, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Millard has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Beaver, they pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Both Millard and Beaver just can't seem to miss. The Eagles have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Beaver struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Millard suffered a grim 21-11 defeat to Beaver in their previous matchup on Tuesday. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
