The University City Centurions will square off against the San Diego Cavers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, University City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mira Mesa, but they still walked away with a 37-31 win.

University City relied on the efforts of Topanga Tusantoso, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points and five steals, and Kianna Lefear, who posted 15 points and five boards. The dominant performance also gave Lefear a new career-high in field goal percentage (80%).
University City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, San Diego entered their tilt with High Tech SD on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 65-56 victory over the Storm.
San Diego found their leader in freshman Seniaah Simms, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 22 rebounds. Simms is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last 17 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gianna Woodson, who scored 15 points.
University City's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-15. As for San Diego, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: University City has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like San Diego struggles in that department as they've been averaging 47 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
University City suffered a grim 65-39 defeat to San Diego in their previous meeting back in January. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point University City was down 35-12.
