Derek Joyner Delivers Best Effort of Season
Derek Joyner produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hertford County to the win on Friday. Joyner rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 38 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Hertford County moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. They and Camden County will meet on Friday for a tough Bear Battle.

Naijhir White Delivers Electric Performance Vs Currituck County
While Naijhir White delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Holmes. Despite the loss, White was still balling out as he rushed for 169 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
Holmes now has a losing record at 3-4. White and Holmes will be playing in front of their home fans against First Flight at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rimiez Williams produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hertford County to the win on Friday. Williams picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 57 yards.
