Monroe is on a five-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Bonney Lake is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Monroe Bearcats will take on the Bonney Lake Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Monroe is ranked 49th, while Bonney Lake is ranked 71st).
Last Friday, Monroe had to suffer through a rough 45-18 loss at the hands of Arlington. Monroe was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.
The losing side was boosted by Ryan Miller, who picked up 150 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bonney Lake's game on Tuesday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Bainbridge by a score of 35-28.
Arlington's victory bumped their season record to 9-0 while Monroe's loss dropped theirs to 8-1.
