Fenwick lost to De La Salle back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Fenwick Friars put the hurt on the De La Salle Meteors with a sharp 47-25 victory. The Friars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Fenwick's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points over those games. As for De La Salle, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-12.

When Fenwick and De La Salle next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Fenwick will try to stop Hinsdale Central's 21-game winning streak when the meet at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, De La Salle will face off against Evanston and their four-game winning streak at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
