Bisbee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Janitzia Avechuco, who scored 15 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Avechuco scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Lopez, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
St. Augustine Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carolina Georgelous, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Georgelous hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Callahan, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
