American has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. Neither they nor the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Patriots have been dealt a draw since back in November.

With that draw, American's record moves to 0-5-2. Meanwhile, Hialeah Gardens' record is now 7-4-3.

American and South Miami will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. South Miami will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something American surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will be home for the holidays to greet Killian at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
