Flint Hills Christian's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Centre Cougars 2-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Flint Hills Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Flint Hills Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-16. As for Centre, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15-5.

Flint Hills Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Herington on the 16th. Centre does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
