With a playoff game on the line, the Sabino Sabercats rose to the challenge on Saturday. They took down Mohave 30-16. The victory was nothing new for Sabino as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Sabino to victory were Cameron Hackworth and Mason Cade. Hackworth rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns, while Cade gained 107 total yards and two touchdowns. Shamar Berryhill did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 90 receiving yards.
Sabino has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Mohave, their loss ended a eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-2.
Sabino will head out on the road to face off against Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Paradise Honors' favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last 11 matches. Mohave does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
