The Coral Gables Cavaliers can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Edison with a sharp  54-32 win. Coral Gables' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Coral Gables' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kamariya Dekle, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds. That's the first time this season that  Dekle  pulled down eight or more   rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Veronica Trueba, who  scored 15 points along with three  steals.
 Coral Gables' victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 1-14. As for Edison, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Coral Gables will be playing at home against South Miami at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. South Miami is coming into the  match on a three-game losing streak. As for Edison, they will head out on the road to  take on  North Miami at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. North Miami will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
