The Preble Shawnee Arrows's 20-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell 36-29 to Madison on Monday. Preble Shawnee has not had much luck with Madison recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Preble Shawnee's loss came despite strong showings from Ashleigh Mondello-garrett and Aubrey Unger. Mondello-garrett scored nine points along with eight steals and five rebounds, while Unger scored eight points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Mondello-garrett has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.
Preble Shawnee's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Preble Shawnee will take on Twin Valley South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Valley South is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Arcanum at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
