Wooster won the last time they faced Debbie Smith CTE Academy and Belen Rivera did her part to make sure it happened again. The Colts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mavericks on Wednesday thanks in part to Rivera, who had 16 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

While Wooster won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-23.

Wooster's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Debbie Smith CTE Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Wooster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Truckee on the 23rd. As for Debbie Smith CTE Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Sparks on the 24th.
