University Prep is 10-0 against Riverside Prep since May of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The University Prep Jaguars will head out on the road to  take on  the Riverside Prep Silver Knights at 3:15  p.m. University Prep will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
 In what's become a running theme this season, University Prep gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. Everything went their way against Excelsior Charter as University Prep made off with  a  12-2 win. That's two games straight that University Prep has won by  exactly ten  runs.
  Carsyn Leon spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Saidy Gonzalez was  incredible,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Dani Jackman, who  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Riverside Prep came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They won by a  run and slipped past Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy  9-8.
  Rachel Lillibridge made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched four innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Lillibridge was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Isabella Villatoro and  Samantha Urtiaga did most of the damage at the plate:  Villatoro  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while  Urtiaga  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-3.  Alyssa Martinez was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 University Prep has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record  this season. As for Riverside Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13-1.
 University Prep was able to grind out a solid  win over Riverside Prep when the teams last played  back in February, winning  4-0. Will University Prep repeat their success,  or does  Riverside Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
