A Season-Best  Effort from  Max Heyn Leads Freeland over Glenn
 On Friday, Freeland got the W thanks in part to  Max Heyn playing the best football he has all season. Heyn rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 36 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 82-yard run.
 The  victory for Freeland keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. It'll be Battle of the Birds when  Falcons faces off against Frankenmuth at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Boston Beougher Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Powers Catholic
  Boston Beougher posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.0 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making four total tackles and defending a pass.
 Beougher and Swan Valley will head out on the road to  challenge  Alma  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The last time  Beougher took on the Panthers, he rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Garrett Hilborn Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 On Friday, Glenn had to settle for second even though  Garrett Hilborn put up the best numbers he has all season. Hilborn rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards.
 Glenn now  has a losing record at 3-4. Hilborn and Glenn will head out on the road to  take on  Powers Catholic  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Swan Valley Gets a Boost from Klein in  56-35  Victory
 The second Swan Valley player making an appearance here is  Colton Klein, and for good reason. He threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 Klein is probably looking forward to his next game, a  home matchup against Alma on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Klein saw the Panthers), he threw for 147 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 67 yards on only nine carries.

Garber's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to  Tristan Westphal
 Garber's five-game losing streak  is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to  Tristan Westphal. Westphal turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, picking up  two  sacks and making nine total tackles.
 For the season,  Westphal  has averaged 6.9 total tackles per game  and for the season has 3 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he had one  sack.
