In other batting news, Maddox Baker was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Jackson Flower was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Edgerton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Defiance.
