The Imagine Prep Storm will head out on the road to face off against the BASIS - Scottsdale Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. BASIS - Scottsdale took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Imagine Prep, who comes in off a win.
Imagine Prep had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat West Phoenix 76-45 on the road.
Imagine Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Heuseveldt out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Cassidy, who scored 20 points.
Meanwhile, BASIS - Scottsdale came up short against South Pointe on Tuesday and fell 54-46.
Imagine Prep's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for BASIS - Scottsdale, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Imagine Prep took their win against BASIS - Scottsdale in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 59-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Imagine Prep since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
