After flying high against Frostproof last Friday, Avon Park came back down to earth. The Red Devils took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeland Dreadnaughts on Tuesday. The Red Devils' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Avon Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lakeland, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.
