Baseball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Bogan's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Bogan won the last time they faced ACERO Garcia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Patriots. Considering the Bengals have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bogan got a massive performance out of Omaria Braxton, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Braxton has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexiel Mendez Vigo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.

Bogan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as ACERO Garcia only posted an OBP of .375.

Bogan has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for ACERO Garcia, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Bogan will square off against Steinmetz College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for ACERO Garcia, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Agricultural Science on the 10th.
