Sadly, John Weaver Iv posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Steele Canyon over Grossmont on Friday. Weaver Iv rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (112.2) per game. Those 243 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
