When it comes to explaining why St. Francis lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joseph Rose. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Rose is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Jimenez, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
St. Francis has fallen quite a ways from their 18-8 record last season and are now at 1-10. As for Alisal, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3.
St. Francis will take on Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Alisal, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against North Monterey County at 7:00 p.m. North Monterey County is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
