If Sedgwick County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Haxtun, they should've done a better job of containing Zach Statz. The Fightin' Bulldogs claimed a resounding 52-8 victory over the Cougars with plenty of help from Statz, who rushed for 145 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Haxtun and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for Sedgwick County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
