The Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 30-29 to Mathis. Annapolis Christian Academy lost against Mathis in their previous head to head back in December of 2020, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 57-15 score last time.
Mathis was led to victory by Jaelee Garcia and Ava Medrano. Garcia scored 6 points along with 3 steals, while Medrano scored 6 points.
Annapolis Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mathis, their win bumped their record up to 1-6.
Annapolis Christian Academy is on the road again on Saturday and play against Woodsboro at 9:30 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Mathis, they will take on Robstown at TBD on Friday.
