Ramah extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 1 this week by beating Crownpoint, 40-24. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Mustangs.
Ramah made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,195 from 14,328. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 40-24 victory over the Eagles last week.
Ramah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyrell Morgan has thrown for 1257 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Matthew Barton has 36 catches for 450 yards. Tyrell Daniels leads the league in rushing with 597 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Zuni takes on Tohatchi. At the moment, the Thunderbirds are in third, while the Cougars are in first.
