Chichester is a perfect 10-0 against Chester since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will challenge the Clippers at 3:30 p.m. Chichester is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.1 runs per game this season.
Chichester's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Academy Park 19-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Brayden Sweigert was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Chichester's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Zach Murray was excellent, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those seven RBI gave him a new career-high. Josh Stephenson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Chichester hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Academy Park struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Chester came up short against Northeast on Wednesday and fell 10-6.
Like Chichester, Chester also got a great game from a two-way player: Jacoby Roman. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs Roman has allowed since back in April of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with six stolen bases and two runs. Roman is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, Damon Fitzgerald led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kevin Logan, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.
Chester now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chichester, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Chester's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Chichester hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .450. It's a different story for Chester, though, as they've only averaged .238. Will they be able to contain Chichester's hitters?
Everything went Chichester's way against Chester in their previous meeting back in March, as Chichester made off with a 16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
