The Crawford County Wolfpack and the South Spencer Rebels squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Crawford County Wolfpack had to settle for second. They fell to the Rebels 38-33. Crawford County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
South Spencer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Molly Schulte out in front who scored nine points along with four steals. Kendalyn Shourds was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for South Spencer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-11.
Crawford County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Spencer and the Braves will face off at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Brownstown Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 176 points over their last three matches.
