Grissom won the last time they faced James Clemens and things went their way on Saturday too. The Grissom Tigers had just enough and edged out the James Clemens Jets 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Josh Burrell made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Burrell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Charlie Cassingham was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Grissom's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for James Clemens, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Grissom wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-2 victory against Guntersville on the 18th. James Clemens has also already played their next game (against Westminster Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
