If the game of high school football is won in the trenches, then Utah football is in good shape. More than half the Beehive State's recruits line up on either the offensive or defensive lines.
However, of the top 10 recruits six of the 10 according the 247Sports.com composite rankings remain undecided.
Timpview is the lone school with two players in the top 10, while three offensive linemen are among the state's top recruits.

2. Jackson Light, Corner Canyon (Draper)

3-star center is No. 5 nationally and appears headed to play for the
Ducks. He's got eight offers including Oregon, BYU, Liberty, Missouri
and Nebraska. Says 247sports recruiting analyst Angulo: "Broad
shouldered build with decent length and room to add mass. Forceful
blocker with good mobility. Agile off his snap, showing ability to get
vertical quickly and push opponents back to open up lanes. ... Upside as
a multi-year starter at Power Five level with chance to garner NFL
Draft looks." He also had 49 tackles on defense, including 4.5 sacks and
an interception.
3. Voi Tunuufi, East (Salt Lake City)

The
3-star is No. 34 nationally holds 16 offers, but committed to the
Huskies in April. He also owns offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, BYU,
California, Michigan and Colorado. He had 14 tackles and 1 sack last
season.
4. Logan Fano, Timpview (Provo)
6-4 | 230 | WDE | UndecidedThe nation's No. 22 weakside defensive end owns offers from Utah, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Washington and Michigan among others. He's a Polynesian Bowl selection. He decomitted from BYU a few months ago and Utah and Washington appear to be the leaders in his recruitment. Fano had 58 tackles last season with eight sacks, an interception and two fumble recoveries.
5. Raider Damuni, Timpview (Provo)
6-2 | 190 | ATH | BYUThe 3-star athlete is No. 29 nationally and committed to the Cougars in February 2017. Despite committing so early he still is garnering offers, including Oregon and Arizona. Also a basketball player, Damuni had 32 tackles, six interceptions and 14 deflections from his corner spot.
The 3-star tackle is a top 75 recruit nationally and committed to the Huskers in April. He also had offers from BYU, California, Iowa State, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Utah State. Says 247sports recruiting analyst Angulo: "Long frame with broad shoulders, high waist and thick lower half.
Appears filled out physically, but could replace mass with lean muscle.
Powerful blocker with toughness and grit. ... Potential multi-year starter at the Power Five level with chance to garner NFL Draft attention."
7. Viliami Pouha, Bingham (South Jordan)

Committed to the Utes in June, the 3-star is a top-60 weakside end nationally. 247Sports' Angulo says "Quick twitch pass rusher with ability to pressure the quarterback off
the edge. Shows agility out of stance with quick first step. Keeps
blockers off balance with array of counter moves. ... Potential multi-year starter at Power Five level and chance to garner All-Conference accolades later in college career."
8. Isaac Vaha, Pleasant Grove
6-7 | 230 | ATH | Undecided
With 19 offers, 247Sports experts can't pin down where Vaha might land. The 3-star who's a top 100 athlete recruit nationally owns offers from Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Texas Tech, UCLA and Utah among others. 247Sports said he could play tight end or defensive end, but "no matter where he plays, he will be a difference maker."
9. Jeffrey Bassa, Kearns
6-3 | 200 | S | Undecided
A top 100 national recruit, Bassa has 14 offers that include Oregon, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Arizona State, Hawaii and Kansas. He averaged nearly 25 yards per catch with four touchdowns for 10-2 Cougars, who lost in the 6A quarterfinals. He also logged 53 tackles and two sacks.
10. Michael Mokofisi, Woods Cross
6-3 | 300 | DT | Undecided
A 3-start with offers from Utah, Arizona, BYU, Nebraska and USC, Mokofisi appears to be leaning toward the Utes. A top 75 national recruit, He logged 35 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery for the Wildcats.
