The Forge Christian Fury's's game back in December of 2023 was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They breezed by Stargate School on the road to the tune of 46-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Forge Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forge Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Finley Queen, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. Rio Beck was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Stargate School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Forge Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Addenbrooke Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Addenbrooke Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 back in December of 2023. As for Stargate School, they will head out on the road to face off against Regis Groff at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Regis Groff is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
