The Paulding Panthers lost against the Delta Panthers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Paulding took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Delta.
Paulding lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brooklyn Schlatter, who scored six points along with six steals. Schlatter has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Bakle, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Paulding now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Delta, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paulding will take on Hicksville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hicksville is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Delta, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Archbold at 7:30 p.m.
