The Denver City Mustangs will take on the Coahoma Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Denver City comes in on three and Coahoma on 54.
On Friday, Denver City made easy work of Crane and carried off a 19-4 win. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matches by six runs or more this season.

Denver City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .857. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Coahoma got themselves on the board against Brownfield on Tuesday, but Brownfield never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cubs with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Bulldogs are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 17th game they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Hannah Wells made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Addi Hart was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Mia Clemmer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
Coahoma pushed their record up to 22-0 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Denver City, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Denver City hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .514. However, it's not like Coahoma struggles in that department as they've averaged .506. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Denver City might still be hurting after the 16-1 loss they got from Coahoma in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Mustangs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
