Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foard). They blew past the Statesville Greyhounds 14-2 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Greyhounds: they've now won eight in a row.

Kaden Adkins made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Foard let Conner Leska and Aiden Vogel run wild. Leska scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Vogel scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Those stolen bases were Leska's first of the season.

Foard's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Statesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foard will challenge East Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
