Bishop Moore has gone 8-1 against Eustis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hornets will square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Moore is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Tony Castro looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Bishop Moore got a big performance out of Nate Davis, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Tyler Lomas was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Eustis posted their closest victory since March 11th on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Mount Dora 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Canes: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Parker Yero, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
Bishop Moore's record now sits at 23-2. As for Eustis, their record is now 14-11.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bishop Moore has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Eustis struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Bishop Moore skirted past Eustis 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
