Wyatt Jennings was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one triple.
In other batting news, Carson File and Robbie Risner stepped up to the plate in a big way. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for they as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
On Westwood Baptist Academy's side, Jacob Barker was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Riley Webster was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
