St. Francis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was T?a Rubino out in front who scored 20 points. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Rubino. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Austin, who scored 11 points.
St. Francis' win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for IC Catholic Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will take on Kaneland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kaneland will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. IC Catholic Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Guilford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
