Several Cyclones players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaycee Kosmicki, who scored four points along with three steals. Kosmicki is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Brooklyn Leithead was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Lingle-Fort Laramie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Skyla Wunder, who scored 14 points along with three steals. Wunder is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Natalie Speckner, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
Southeast's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-2. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
