If The Rolla Bulldogs were feeling good off their 28-7 takedown of the Waynesville Tigers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rolla was beaten by Lebanon 42-10 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Rolla can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Lebanon is ranked 13th).
Jax Glendenning continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lebanon, rushing for 208 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Glendenning was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Gavin Smith was another key contributor, rushing for 123 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.
Rolla's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Lebanon, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Rolla will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Helias at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Lebanon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Branson at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd.
