Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bethel-Tate). They blew past the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals 14-1 on Saturday. The Tigers not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024 (when they won 18-5).
Landen Schultian made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Schultian was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases and four runs. Bethel-Tate is 2-1 when Schultian posts two or more runs, but 2-11 otherwise.
In other batting news, Carter Moss and Simon Houser did most of the damage at the plate: Moss got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI, while Houser got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
