A Season-Best Performance from Ryder Norton Leads Northwest over Bell
On Thursday, Northwest got the W thanks in part to Ryder Norton playing the best football he has all season. Norton rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 61 yards.
The win for Northwest keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Norton and Northwest will head out on the road to face off against Keller Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Friday, Southlake Carroll got the W thanks in part to Davis Penn playing the best football he has all season. Penn rushed for 136 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in December of 2023.
Penn might have his next game, a road matchup with V.R. Eaton, circled on his calendar. Penn rushed for 128 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.
