Richfield is 6-1 against Hagerman since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Richfield Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Hagerman Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Richfield will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Richfield beat Dietrich 46-41.
Richfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kasey Hendren, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Hendren is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Kent, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Hagerman came up short against Cascade two weeks ago and fell 37-25.
Richfield pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Hagerman, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-8.
Everything came up roses for Richfield against Hagerman in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 35-8 win. With Richfield ahead 26-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
