Coquille might be getting used to good results now that the squad have three wins in a row. They blew past Lakeview 37-7. Coquille were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. The matchup pushed Lakeview down to 2-5 and pulled Coquille up to the reverse at 5-2.
Next week Coquille take on Gold Beach/Pacific at 7:00 PM. Those two teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Lakeview, they will face off against Illinois Valley. Lakeview have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Illinois Valley are surely hoping to exploit.
