The Morgan Trojans won the last time they faced the Ogden Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Morgan walked away with a 52-42 victory over Ogden.
Leading Morgan to victory were Kaydence Wardell and Abby Titus. Wardell scored nine points along with eight assists and eight steals, while Titus scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Titus scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Birkeland, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Morgan's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10. As for Ogden, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan will take on Grantsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grantsville is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59 points per game. As for Ogden, they will be playing at home against South Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully South Summit focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
