Jackson Resh Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is Allegany's Jackson Resh, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Thursday Resh forced a fumble and made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Allegany came up short on Thursday despite Khiante Bible delivering his best game to date. Bible's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.

Fort Hill was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Jabril Daniels did his best to prevent it. Briar Woods had no answer to Daniels as he rushed for 61 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Daniels might just drop another big game when he faces off against Mountain Ridge on Saturday. Back in December of 2023 (the last time Daniels saw the Miners), he rushed for 304 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.5 yards per carry.

Mountain Ridge was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Levi Clise did his best to prevent it. Clise was dynamite, rushing for 44 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making four total tackles (1.0 for loss).
For the season, Clise has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 25.8 rushing yards per game.

Nick Willison Goes Supernova in Fort Hill Defeat
Another Fort Hill player making an appearance on this list is Nick Willison. He forced a fumble and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss). He is on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made 12 or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
On the year, Willison has averaged 13.8 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.4 total tackles per game.
