No Stoppin 'Em
The match between Langdon/Edmore/Munich and Lisbon last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 73 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Langdon/Edmore/Munich scooted by Lisbon with a score of 45 - 28. Even if it didn't bump Langdon/Edmore/Munich up the rankings, the win at least kept the team from dropping.
Game of Inches
It doesn't get any closer than a one-point game, and that was the margin of last week's closest contest, which featured thrill-seekers Shanley and Jamestown. Shanley can thank its lucky stars for its win over Jamestown. The final score was a hard-fought 27 - 26. Despite the outcome, neither team improved or gave up its position in the power rankings.
Next Week's Big Game
If you are itching to watch a first-rate contest, no game is supposed to fit the bill better than the one between Bismarck (4th in the power rankings) and West Fargo (1st). West Fargo will be sulking in after a defeat while Bismarck will strut in boosted by a win. We'll see if Bismarck can add another positive mark to its record or if West Fargo can shake off its loss and take the spring out of Bismarck's step.
