The Neshaminy Skins will head out on the road to take on the Central Bucks East Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neshaminy is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Neshaminy didn't have too much trouble with Souderton at home as they won 53-39.
Neshaminy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Currie led the charge by scoring 11 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryan Meehan, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Central Bucks East was able to grind out a solid win over Pennsbury on Friday, taking the game 58-45. Given Central Bucks East's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Pennsbury is ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Neshaminy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Central Bucks East, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
Neshaminy beat Central Bucks East 53-42 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Neshaminy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
