Clay has gone 6-1 against Northwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will host the Mohawks at 5:00 p.m. Clay knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Northwest likes a good challenge.
It was a proper cat-fight when Clay duked it out with Green on Monday. The Panthers blew past the Bobcats 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Alayna Shepherd spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elin Shaw, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Madison Carver was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Northwest lost 10-1 to Symmes Valley on Monday. The Mohawks have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Northwest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kamryn Journey, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Clay has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Northwest, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Clay hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Northwest struggles in that department as they've averaged .318. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Clay couldn't quite get it done against Northwest when the teams last played back in April of 2022 as they fell 8-3. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
