After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Emmaus, the Northampton Konkrete Kids were happy to have found some success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Easton Area 59-26 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Northampton also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2021.
Several Rovers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Hoadley, who scored 7 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lafayette Acree, who scored 6 points.
The win got Northampton back to even at 1-1. As for Easton Area, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northampton will square off against Allentown Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Easton Area, they will head out on the road to face off against Stroudsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
