On Thursday, Park River/Fordville-Lankin came up short against St. John and fell 55-42.
St. John's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alani Morin led the charge by scoring 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Morin is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Kaycee Desjarlais was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Park River/Fordville-Lankin has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for St. John, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.
